Sundarban-Home of The Royal Bengal Tiger

The Sundarbans delta, at the mouth of the Ganges river, is the largest mangrove forest in the world, spreading across parts of Bangladesh and West Bengal, India.

Sunderbans mean the beautiful forest. Sunderbans is the home of the Royal Bengal Tigers. These dense mangrove forests are criss-crossed by a network of rivers and creeks.One find here tide flowing in two directions in the same creek and often tigers swimming across a river or huge crocodiles basking in the sun. Monkeys and deer are two very common animal of this forest. Other wildlife in this region is cheetahs, bears, pythons and hyenas.
