Boats are the ultimate and unique transporter in rural Bangladesh.During the rainy season most of the low lands get flooded and to go from one end to another people use this type of wooded boats.This boats are also used to catch fish.In the big rivers like Padma and Jamuna,also in Meghna the fisherman use this kind of boat to catch the fish and carry those.This boats are a sign of uniqueness in the traditional transportation.People use this in a regular basis to go from one place to another where the distance through river is smaller than the distance through road.People also do jouney by boat for their recreation from one place to another.This boats are eco-friendly cause this does not use engine, so no pollution is there.
